I have found that the best teams are made, not hired. There are salespeople who follow a very rigid program of communication, exceptional writing, absolute accountability and perseverance. I have worked alongside some of the best teams with close rates above 90% for ANY deal they became involved in. This almost always boils down to accountability.
There is literally no company who has unlimited resources, but some manage those resources better than others. This management is primarily driven by managing true priorities and strong internal and interdepartmental communication. I have worked with enterprises with 5+ layers of management, full time project management, multiple reporting structures and 10,000+ employees who have had difficulty prioritizing because they don’t fully trust the information they are being given.
The Basics
I will typically make a notable impact in 1-2 months. I find it’s often not needed to engage for much longer than that. If asked, and if there seems to be important follow up work remaining, I may agree to an additional couple weeks or month.
I bill monthly, in advance, at a rate of $15k per month. If prepaying for a 2 month engagement, I will reduce my rate by $5k.
